It is with deep regret to inform you we will be temporarily re-closing The Wells Film Centre as of Friday 25th September.
The 3 reasons why we have taken this unprecedented step are:
*During the 2 months we have reopened, public attendance has been at an all time low with many shows not taking place.
*On Wednesday, Walt Disney Pictures removed 3 more major films, these would have been imperative to the continued operation of this cinema.
*On Thursday, the British Government made it impossible to sell food and drink purchased in the foyer, requiring us to serve you at your seat. In these current times this is not practical for the safety of our staff and customers.
We intend to reopen in time for James Bond – No Time To Die in November, but will update with news nearer the time.
We know there are a lot of customers who would like to continue supporting us during this time, so we will be releasing a SAVE YOUR CINEMA campaign from next week.Further details can be found in the Octobers Wells Voice and on our website wellsfilmcentre.co.uk.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us since we reopened in July and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Stay Safe, Sally, Becky, Libby and all the staff at Wells Film Centre.
