Drawbridge Opens from 6.30pm with a Hog Roast and drink. 8pm pre-show followed by the film. Will finish no later than 10.45pm.
Bring your own blanket or seating and an umbrella as the show will go on whatever the weather.

We start off the Festival with a two-course sit down meal at the beautiful Swan Hotel, Wells. The event starts at 12noon, please be seated by 12.30pm.
We will be raising money for MediCinema as this year’s theme is ‘Heroes’.
There will be some real Heroes joining us so there may be a surprise or two along the way.

Directed by local vegan film director Darren Cavanagh, who spent 6 years making the film and raised over £52k on crowdfunding to complete it and who has been working in the film industry for over 25 years.
He will present this exclusive screening in Wells and be in attendance to do Q&A after the screening.
The film premiered in London and Amsterdam in 2018.
Local Hero - Ceremony [U]

- The award ceremony will start off with the winning top 20 videos from the competition above, which have been edited together by Darren, shown on the big screen.
- We then have a short interval in which tea and coffee will be provided for free, our little way to say, ‘Thank you’.
- The final part of our ceremony sees awards given to the top 5, including the presentation of a Go-Pro Hero Camera to the winner.
- The winner's story, which would of been made into a short 5 minute film by local vegan film director Darren Cavanagh www.theverycreativegan.com , will then be played on screen.
