Following the success of previous 'Talking Film' events, with 'Mary Queen of Scots' selling out in January, Joanna returns to the Wells Film Centre with the next instalment.
To this she brings her wide experience of Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon and area, as well as a lifelong fascination with the dramatist and his works. This year Joanna has visited Warwickshire again in order to investigate recent research at the Shakespeare properties, in particular archaeological discoveries at his home, New Place.
Having interviewed some of those involved and through previous studies with leading Shakespeare specialist, Sir Jonathan Bate, Joanna will shed light on the locations, stories and characters in the film, as well as some of the controversies surrounding them.
A look at the final days in the life of renowned playwright William Shakespeare.
